Who we are
to a team
It happened over 10 years ago, when Agnė Vaičienė and Povilas Miknevičius left their positions as in-house linguists to start their own company – Team of Translators, or TOFT for short.
“Back then, it was just the two of us. We didn’t have any other employees or even a physical office. But what we did have was unwavering professional enthusiasm and a clear vision for our future. This vision was based on two priorities: high quality services and a strong team of professionals,” – says Agnė.
Today, we are proud to say that we have accomplished these goals. A tandem of translation enthusiasts turned into a team of localisation talents, now recognised globally as TOFT International. Based in Vilnius, the forward-thinking capital of Lithuania, we have a tight in-house team of project managers and linguists who are bolstered by our global network of external vendors.
How we work
Delve deeply,
think broadly
Over the years, we have developed best practices to handle our clients’ needs based on a two-vector approach. On one hand, we always delve into the client’s world to understand their product, their message and their brand identity. On the other hand, we never lose sight of the bigger picture, taking into account the target audience, market demand and the potential profitability of the localised content.
The same applies to our workflows – while delivering the highest quality translations, we always maintain a broader perspective of the client’s needs. This allows us to offer added-value localisation management solutions – including market research, content evaluation and adaptation, consultancy and strategy setting – so that the client can actually benefit from the localised content.
How we live
ready to share
Born out of professional enthusiasm, TOFT International continues to move forward along this path. While our clients are advancing their products and technologies, our team is keeping up by attending conferences, workshops, trade fairs and similar events in localisation and other industries.
Besides, knowledge is better when it is shared. A few years ago, we started our Networking Dinner campaign to introduce existing and potential clients to various aspects of localisation, share insights among professionals, and tackle localisation challenges, together.
Social responsibility
Social responsibility
We are passionate not only about professional development but also about making a positive difference in the world. Through volunteering, donations and charity programs, we actively support our local communities and contribute to global causes.
From lending our language skills to those in need to backing vulnerable groups in society, our team members are encouraged to take paid time off for volunteering. This approach ensures we maintain a hands-on commitment to creating a better world.
